- Exeter Films : Our aim is to share knowledge and extend the boundaries of film making.
- Frome Film and Video Makers : Encouraging film and video making in Frome, Somerset.
- Gloucester Film Makers : The club was formed in 1962 and over the years it has made a major contribution to amateur film and video making in the area, providing helpful advice and instruction in every aspect of the hobby.
- Mid-Wilts Video Society : The Mid Wilts Video Society meets every two weeks on Monday evening at the Village Hall in Hilperton, West Wiltshire.
- Reading Film and Video Makers : An active group of keen film-makers and videographers who meet regularly and aim to help, support and encourage anyone interested in film or video.

- Tewkesbury YMCA Video Camera Club : A friendly club of amateur film makers who meet frequently at the YMCA Social Club in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

USEFUL LOCAL INFORMATION
- The Avon Association of Drama : An umbrella organisation for amateur drama and musical societies in the former county of Avon.
- The Saint Ursula Players : One of the leading drama clubs in the West of England. During its 50 years, members have won about 120 awards, including 47 first placings in local and national drama festivals, and have reached the final of the All England One Act Play Festival four times, as well as the final of the British One Act Play Festival.
- SPPTheatreCo : An amateur drama group which has been based in Southville, Bristol for over fifty years.
- Southwest Scriptwriters : Local (Bristol) group of individuals who write scripts aimed at screen, play and radio.
- Bluescreen : Bi-monthly film screening at the Cube Cinema in Bristol. Primarily for local film makers, of varying experience and moving image formats.
- Don Fairservice : BAFTA award-winning film editor. Don's personal website includes 25 clips selected from his work over the last several decades.
