Friese-Greene Memorial Plaque

The Lord Mayor of Bristol unveiled a memorial blue plaque to William Friese-Greene, the pioneer of cinematography, at his birthplace, 12 College Street in the centre of Bristol, on 7th September 1955, 100 years after he was born.
