The Pink Ballerina Affair
Reviewed by Frank Bond - July 2006
Samuel Dimple is a private detective, not a particularly well known or well employed detective, but a detective none the less. He has an enthusiastic side kick called Updike. In this case, their prospective client meets with a misfortune, so the police take an interest. The web of intrigue takes some unravelling for Dimple, with little chance of being confused with his hero, Humphrey Bogarde. There's plenty of action, and a few laughs before justice outs.
