Mr.Davidson's Autumn

The title came first with the basic idea of a man returning to a small seaside resort for the last time. Local amateur actor John Stevens took the premis and fleshed out the story to give it an 'ending'.

Clevedon fitted the location for the out-of-season resort perfectly and two days were spent there in the cold wind blowing in off the sea. St. Andrews Park in Bristol stood in as an autumnal, leaf strewn background and the guest house shots were filmed over one weekend at a house in Westbury on Trym.

A lot of care was taken in the colour of the finished video with every shot being graded as it was put into the computer before editing. Hopefully this, combined with the photography and choice of music, creates the right mood for this story.
