William Friese-Greene Death Centenary
On May 5th 2021, Bristol City Council marked the centenary of the death of motion picture pioneer, William Friese-Greene next to the plaque which had originally been erected to celebrate the centenary of his birth on the house where he was born. After the house was demolished the plaque was moved to its present location on the rear wall of City hall.
